Jeff DeGraffenreid Returns to Foulston Siefkin from Spirit AeroSystems

Foulston Siefkin Announces Return of Former Partner

Mr. Jeff P. DeGraffenreid has rejoined the Foulston Siefkin LLP law firm as a partner. Mr. DeGraffenreid began his legal career at Foulston Siefkin in 1992 and left the firm in 2008 to spend nine years at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. (NYSE: SPR), where he most recently served as Deputy General Counsel and the legal department’s chief of staff. Mr. DeGraffenreid was unanimously elected to the partnership effective July 1, 2017. He is now one of 48 partners in Foulston Siefkin’s Wichita office, and one of 64 partners overall.

With over 25 years of legal experience, Mr. DeGraffenreid has handled a broad range of significant corporate litigation and business issues, including complex commercial disputes/litigation and supply chain management challenges; employee and securities class action litigation; labor negotiations; employee and workforce management issues; corporate ethics, regulatory compliance, and workplace investigations; and enterprise risk management. As a member of the firm’s Litigation & Disputes Practice Group, Mr. DeGraffenreid will bring valuable industry insight to clients, particularly those within the aviation, manufacturing, and construction sectors, while providing proactive solutions and counsel for a variety of business challenges.

He remarked, “It was a privilege for me to serve a great Kansas company, Spirit AeroSystems, for the last nine years.  I look forward to bringing the experience gained and lessons learned as in-house counsel at the world’s top tier-one aerospace supplier to other great businesses.”

Mr. DeGraffenreid received his undergraduate degree from Wichita State University in 1988 and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 1992.
