Profile

Mr. Wead “cut his legal teeth” in the area of insurance defense, which gained him significant trial and courtroom experience. He now focuses his practice on representing clients in a wide variety of general complex commercial litigation and creditors’ rights matters. He routinely works with business and banking clients on litigation matters that involve contract disputes, foreclosure, landlord-tenant disputes, mechanic’s liens, real property, and torts. In the creditors’ rights area, Mr. Wead represents creditors on a wide array of matters, including, but not limited to, alleged fraudulent conveyance and fraudulent transfer claims, alleged preference claims, and executory contract issues. Mr. Wead enjoys Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory’s highest “AV” rating for lawyers reflecting exemplary professional expertise, experience and stature.
