Profile

Samantha Ernst is an associate at Foulston Siefkin where she represents companies in matters involving supply chain management, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and general business and corporate law.

Samantha’s legal practice focuses primarily on supply chain management, an area she considers to be one of her passions. She was first introduced to supply chain management as a sophomore in college when she followed Target Corporation’s global supply chain upstream. From walking through a Target store in Austin, Texas, to touring factories in the Guangzhou region of China, Samantha was able to witness firsthand the full process and complex issues involved in supply chain management. This unique education has provided a solid foundation and direction for her career. Today, Samantha applies experience and zeal to offer clients dedicated service and counsel.

Prior to joining Foulston, Samantha practiced at an Am Law 100 firm in Houston, Texas, that specializes in the energy, technology, and finance sectors. While there, she represented a global oilfield services company in the formation of a joint venture which will be the first fully integrated digital oilfield automation solutions provider in the world. Additionally, Samantha worked in the procurement department of a Fortune 100 oil and gas company prior to law school.

Outside of the office, Samantha is an active parishioner at Church of the Magdalen with her husband and two children. Her husband, who Samantha credits with leading their family to Wichita and introducing her to Foulston’s supply chain practice, is pursuing his medical residency in internal medicine and pediatrics.
