2024 Employment Law Institute
Block your calendars and join us every Tuesday in April for the 2024 Employment Law Institute – a series of timely and relevant updates on the latest employment law information you need to know. For over 30 years, the annual Employment Law Institute has brought together human resource professionals, business owners, executives, and managers in a wide range of industries across the region to learn about the latest legal developments, best practices, and strategies to make their organizations legally compliant and employers of choice. You won't want to miss it – register now!
We get it! You're busy, and it's hard to commit to a full day out of office. The first three sessions will be presented as live webinars so we can continue to offer the flexibility of joining us virtually. The fourth and final session of the series will have an opportunity to attend virtually or in person in Kansas City or Wichita with our Foulston attorneys. Limited seating is available; please indicate how you'll attend in your registration.
The one-time registration fee is $250 and includes live and recorded access and downloadable materials for all sessions in the series. If you are seeking continuing education credit, please review the details in the Certification section below.

Please note this session is scheduled at a different time of day than the earlier sessions in the series.
Who Should Attend
The 2024 Employment Law Institute is designed for human resource professionals, business owners, executives, managers, and in-house lawyers. Enrollment is open for corporate and government counsel. Attorneys in private practice require prior approval.
Each session in the 2024 Employment Law Institute series will be submitted for preapproval of HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™, and SPHRi™ recertification through the HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). Foulston Siefkin LLP is recognized by SHRM to offer SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP professional development credits (PDCs). The series sessions will also be submitted for preapproval of continuing legal education (CLE) credit for attorneys in Kansas and Missouri.
Please identify your continuing education (CE) preferences in your registration. We will distribute SHRM activity numbers, HRCI activity numbers, and certificates of completion via email after verifying participation and attendance for the full hour(s) in the sessions. We will submit Kansas CLE credit for virtual attendees who requested it after verifying participation and attendance for the full hour(s) in the live webinar sessions. In-person attendees who requested CLE credit will receive affidavits to complete and return on-site, which we will submit to the Kansas CLE Commission as the provider. Missouri CLE is self-reporting.
Note: Virtual attendees who wish to receive CE credit must (1) attend the webinar's live presentation and (2) attend individually on their own device using the link received in the registration confirmation. Registrants who (1) view the recorded version of the presentation or (2) join the live webinar with a group or other person on a shared device are not eligible for CE credit.
