What To Expect
Foulston attorneys will provide an in-depth examination of the most pressing legal issues facing the healthcare industry. This year’s hybrid program will include discussion on corporate compliance, Stark Law, HIPAA, fraud and abuse concerns (including pandemic-related oversight and enforcement), surprise billing, midlevel scope of practice, and other legal issues and litigation trends. Join us for the latest developments in state and federal health laws and regulations impacting your operations, practices, and much more.
Downloadable materials to use as a desk resource and access to view recorded versions of all presentations online at your convenience are included with registration. Kansas and Missouri continuing legal education (CLE) credit will be requested for live participants; see details below.
Who Should Attend
This program is designed for chief executive officers, executive directors, administrators, business managers, chief financial officers, chief nursing officers, chief operating officers, quality and risk managers, HIPAA privacy and security officers, corporate counsel, and compliance officers. Enrollment is open for corporate and government counsel. Attorneys in private practice require prior approval.
The 2022 Health Law Institute will be submitted for preapproval of continuing legal education (CLE) credit for attorneys in Kansas and Missouri.
Please identify your continuing education (CE) preferences in your registration, and we will follow up accordingly. We will submit Kansas CLE credit for virtual attendees after verifying attendance time and participation in the live webinar presentations. In-person attendees will receive affidavits to complete and return on-site, which we will submit to the Kansas CLE Commission as the provider. Missouri CLE is self-reporting. Certificates of completion will be distributed via email after verifying full-time attendance and participation in the live sessions.
Note: Virtual attendees who wish to receive CE credit must (1) attend the webinar's live presentations and (2) attend individually on their own device using the webinar link we will e-mail prior to the event. Registrants who (1) view the recorded version of the presentation or (2) join the live presentation with a group or other person on a shared device are not eligible for CE credit.
