Summer AssociatesEach summer we hire a select group of first- and second-year law students to participate in our summer associate program. Our program is comparatively small, consonant with our overall hiring philosophy and with a view toward our future hiring needs. Our summer associate classes tend to be tight-knit groups because they do not experience the pressures associated with a large number of students competing for a small number of associate positions. Because our summer associate program is our primary source of new attorneys, the same criteria apply to the hiring of both summer associates and associates.
